service sector. The development of Consultancy profession
in India has been quite significant during the past
few decades and a large number of Consultancy organizations,
Consultants/ domain experts are now available in the
country
The number of Consultancy organizations, Consultants/
Domain experts has increased manifolds in a span of
past two decades. With a view to enable a consolidation
in the industry, identify the key capabilities and
expertise of the Indian Consulting industry and also
make it available to prospective clients both within
and outside India, it is felt that a comprehensive
database of Consultancy organizations and Consultants/
Domain experts needs to be developed.
Department of Scientific and Industrial Research
(DSIR), Ministry of Science and Technology,
Govt. of India has taken initiative to prepare Industry
Specific Sectoral National Online Database of Consultants
and Consultancy organizations and has commissioned
this assignment through Consultancy Development
Centre (CDC).
The SCHEDULE for providing detailed information for
Consultancy organizations and Consultants/ Domain
experts is available at the website www.cdc.org.in
Interested Consultancy organizations and Consultants/
Domain experts can download this SCHEDULE from the
above mentioned websites and submit the same along
with requisite documents to the concerning Nodal Officers
of their respective state/ region as mentioned in
the SCHEDULE
